This Deviation Was Supposed to be Awesome... :(

So after uploading [link], it was only THEN that I realised the obvious; if anyone in Gawayn would be a brony, it would totally be Roderick! Seriously, how could I not have realised?! So it was then that I decided to draw up a follow-up comic about Roderick being a brony too! It was going to be awesome...

Basically, it would have went like this (I had it all planned out meticulously, could imagine panels so well!):
Panel 1: The Duke *laughing triumphantly*: I've got you this time, questers! Muahahahaha!; (All the questers looking downcast, Gwen looks frustrated/angry; Xiao Long looks sad and Elspeth looks slightly derpy. Roderick appears to be pondering something; William surveying the situation gravely; Rex standing beside Duke looking scheming and satisfied as always*
Panel 2: *Roderick tries to make a run for it*
Panel 3: Duke *calmly*: Guards...
Panel 4: Weapons are thrown from all directions at Roderick, all managing to just miss him, some of them skim across him however.
Panel 5: The weapons flying past Roderick caused his pants to fall down, and he's wearing Pinkie Pie boxers!
Panel 6: Roderick is grinning in an embarrassed manner
Panel 7: Duke: Wait... Pinkie Pie...? You're a brony too?!
Panel 8: *Cuts to a scene with Roderick and Duke watching MLP together and discussing pony-based matters*; Rex *really annoyed*: Seriously?!

Okay, so it sounds a lot stupider when I type it out But I swear it would have been worth the comic! It would have been so funny!
So I started drawing it on Paint.NET, and I'd finished sketching the first panel, which came out perfectly; exactly how I wanted it! It was the first time that I had drawn all the questers in the correct style of the show well, and it looked great!
So I saved it, exited it and then it got completely stuffed up and ruined, and by that I mean blurred, pictures repeated and merged into each other, etc. It was awful. So after that nightmare, because I felt I had drawn it so well I seriously didn't want to go through all that trouble again, especially since I would never feel like it was as good as the first sketch of it. Which is why unfortunately that comic shall never come to be. So I drew this quick sketch instead!

Roderick's definitely a massive Pinkie Pie fan, I can tell. And I added the cup of tea for the Duke on a whim. But he definitely likes tea though! It just seemed fitting to add that detail in...
So now these two actually have a common ground!!

Also, I promised ~SarcasticLeaves that I'd include a cameo of the Brony Song in a later Gawayn deviation of mine. That comic was going to be that deviation... So unfortunately unless I find somewhere else to insert it (and after this I'll be done with Gawayn/MLP fooling around)... It doesn't look like that's going to happen.
(I was going to have Duke and Roderick singing the whole "It's not easy being a brony..." in the last panel) So... sorry about that. :/
